The partnership also marks San Antonio Shoemakers’ first collaboration with a North American brand. United by a shared commitment to domestic manufacturing, the Body of Work / SAS Journey Mesh in Loam/Black is made by hand in the USA and marries a sense of refinement with the finest in artisanal shoemaking.
Each Body of Work product is designed with the intention of bringing a sense of ease and refinement to activity with an emphasis on working with world-class artisans that share a desire to craft the finest products.
Body of Work brings a penchant for nature-inspired hues and premium materials to SAS’s iconic silhouette. Italian suede and USA-made rubber and textiles are constructed by approximately 80 artisans in Body of Work’s signature hue, Loam.
Approaching 50 years of manufacturing excellence, San Antonio Shoemakers is one of the last American-made shoe manufacturers producing 100% of their sneakers in their own factories in Texas, USA. Additionally, SAS is one of the primary manufacturers of footwear for the U.S. military.
